Experience

Mr. Kinsella has over 30 years of experience covering a broad range of projects for both the public and private sectors. As President of d.a.kinsella company Inc. (dak)., Mr. Kinsella  has been responsible for a variety of low rise residential single and multi-family  projects ranging in construction value from $5,000 to $10 million. Projects which have been funded through multiple lenders, personnel finance, HUD, federal and state tax credit and  community block development grants, Massachusetts housing finance, Massachusetts housing and community development.  Projects have ranged in scope from simple bathroom remodels to new house construction.  The practice consists of  a strong residential component  and light commercial  with emphasis on multi and single family homes.
During any work program the firm attempts to maintain a minimum of three projects at a maximum construction value of 350,000 each. As president of tbc Mr. Kinsella over sees the operations of all services provided by tbc, Mr. Kinsella is responsible for directing all staff both in the office and field in the service and execution of construction operations., contracting with subcontractors, estimating, and purchasing for day to day operations.  To date he managed the residential construction and renovation operations by tbc to a value of $2.4 million with an average of $1.6 million in sales. Other skills that Mr. Kinsella has developed include marketing; project management;  cost control , value engineering and construction supervision.

EXPERIENCE
Ms. DeYoung has approximately 4 years’ experience in the preparation of renderings and presentation drawings. She has prepared construction drawings for several single
families homes and while with d.a.kinsella company has prepared design development drawings for a 40 unit apartment building, a 40,000 SF office warehouse and a 6,000 SF church under the supervision of an Architect.
While doing graduate work she interned with d.a.kinsella company and was responsible for measuring existing conditions, putting existing conditions into cad, designing floorplans and elevations, producing construction documents, calculating beams, Res Check, reviewing code, Communicating with clients and much more.
Prior to joining d.a.kinsella company she has prepared energy audits for single family homes, designed new single family homes and renovations for multiple families. She also had the opportunity to work on projects in several countries including Uganda, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. She received her MA real-estate license in 2014 to sell real estate and is as an active buyer-seller agent.
Ms. DeYoung brings numerous skills to the practice including a full understanding of
energy audits for homes, model making, drafting by hand, and a depth of knowledge with Vector Works, Auto Cad, Google Sketchup, Revit, Microsoft Office and Adobe suite.

EXPERIENCE
Ms. Sessa has about 4 years' of Architect related experience with a background in Interior design. She has worked as a Junior Architect with another company and training other Architects in software. Has worked on many projects and is a great addition to our team here at d. a. kinsella.

Ms. Sessa has worked with Autocad, Revit, 20/20, Chief Architect, & Sketch Up to create renderings and Blueprints. She is also skilled in Microsoft software as well.

Experience

Ms Pudsey has over 6 years' experience in various customer service rolls. With a wide variety of skills  that she has gained along the way. She will be the point of contact for most interactions when calling into d. a. kinsella company. Ms Pudsey is the office administrator and carries out the day to day tasks within the office and occasionally out in the field.

CHRISTOPHER KINSELLA - ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

Experience

​Mr. Kinsella has been with the company for quite a few years, and has held many different positions within the company. With his current role he is the assistant project manager with the company and assists David Kinsella with many of the day to day tasks that we go through when starting and following through with the projects. Mr. Kinsella will meet with many of the clients throughout the length of their projects with the company, and also long after. He will also be in charge of picking things up and dropping them off at the job sites, and making sure that the job is on task / and on time for any deadlines.
