My project consists of adding a master bedroom and a dining room to the existing house, and converting an existing small bedroom into a spacious master bath and plenty of closet space. David is one of the owners of the company and the general contractor for my project. He is extremely responsive, professional and good at listening to what we need and then translate our wish list into beautiful designs. He is also very flexible and accommodated several rounds of changes during the planning phase. Because of the careful prep work David and team did, the building permit was approved in record time and the project started way ahead of schedule. David from D. A. Kinsella Company gave us a great deal more confidence than the other company. David came to our house and worked out the cabinet, counter, appliance and fixture layouts for all rooms on his laptop. He had pictures of many previous jobs that showed different styles and colors. He listened to our prioritization of "must haves", "like to have" and "we are open to suggestions". His suggestions were all excellent. His sense of which materials, colors and styles go together is marvelous. He brought samples to our house and accompanied us to the tile store and the kitchen/bathroom fixtures store to make selections. When work started, David was at the house almost every day. The workers were there everyday, sometimes a couple sometimes several people. Not only are the workers highly skilled and attentive to details, they are all very pleasant and had some very good suggestions regarding details. They worked hard and cleaned up at the end of the day. As with all such major jobs, occasionally things come up during the work. We could always call and either David would respond. David and tbc issued a proposal with clear language that described the scope of the work and what was to be completed with each phase.

As we went through the process, we used email to communicate any changes, updates, tweaks, or any questions we had with the design. All of which, David would answer personally and update the drawings accordingly.
